NSF DATA MANAGEMENT PLAN REQUIREMENT

The NSF now requires that all proposals with a due date of January 18, 2011 or later contain a data management plan (DMP) addressing how the proposed project will comply with the agency's data sharing policy.  Columbia researchers may find the resources provided on the Scholarly Communication Program website of Columbia University Libraries / Information Services helpful for creating a Data Management Plan.  http://scholcomm.columbia.edu/open-access/nsf-data-management-plan-requirements/
